Ortús musicians are bringing their music into the community during the festival and throughout the year in collaboration with Cork ETB School of Music, West Cork Music, Cork County Council, Cork Airport and Iarnród Éireann.

1st March 2017
• Chamber Music Masterclasses with students from Cork ETB School of Music in Glanmire Community College coached by Ortús musicians
• Short concert
• ‘Meet the Musicians’ question and answer session

2nd March 2017
• School concerts in County Cork Schools by Phoebe White, Ruth Gibson, Sinéad O’Halloran and Gary Beecher
– St Brogans College Bandon
– Glanmire Community College

• Performance at St Raphael’s Centre, Youghal (for residents and staff only) by Mairéad Hickey, Brian O’Kane and Kelley Lonergan

4th March 2017
• 12.00pm – Open rehearsal at CIT Cork School of Music, Union Quay

5th March 2017
• 12.00pm – Performance on board Cork-Cobh train
